Julia holds a Law degree from the University of Valladolid (1994), and a Masters degree in European Union Law from Carlos III University in Madrid (1998).

Julia has been a practising lawyer and member of the Bar Association since 1998. She worked in law firms in Marbella and Madrid joining Fernando Meana Green & Co.'s Madrid in 2002. She specializes in Aviation and Maritime law, in particular, pollution, collision, ship mortgages, and marine insurance. She also has ample experience in Mercantile, Civil and Administrative law.

Publications: Co-author with colleague Veronica Meana of the contribution concerning Spanish law to the fourth edition of “Limitation of Liability for Marine Claims” in the Lloyds Shipping Law Library, LLP, 2004.
