Sr Fernando MeanaFernando Meana Green holds a Law degree from the University of Valladolid (1956) and joined the Bar Association in 1956. Member of the Spanish Maritime Law Association. Member of the "Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Marítimo". Member of the CMI. Average Adjuster. Arbitrator for the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce.

Fernando Meana Green specialised in maritime law in Holman, Fenwick & Willan in London (1959-1960). In 1961, he opened Fernando Meana Green & Co. in Bilbao . Fernando Meana Green is an internationally respected authority on all kinds of maritime matters. In his long and prestigious career, Fernando Meana has worked on many ground breaking cases covering, among others, collisions, salvage, cargo and charterparty disputes, as well as pollution incidents.

Fernando Meana Green has published many articles and has contributed to several treatises about maritime law. He has also taken part in conferences, seminars and courses as a lecturer as well as a guest.
